Annette M. Pineiro is a Master’s level mental health therapist specializing in individual, couples, and family counseling. She provides therapy to clients of any age, race, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, and disability. Her goal as a therapist is to create a warm, safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can share their stories. Annette supports her clients to reach realistic goals by providing them with motivation, empathy, and effective coping skills.
She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy. Among her areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, PTSD, life transitions, personality disorders, stress management, substance abuse, adoption, bereavement, trauma, and eating disorders. Annette received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Interpersonal Communication at Bloomsburg University. She received her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. She is a member in the following international and national honors societies: Lambda Pi Eta, Kappa Delta Pi, and Delta Epsilon Sigma. Annette is a member of the American Counseling Association. She is a certified as a National Certified Counselor. Annette has experience working as an in-home mental health counselor, behavioral therapist and a non-profit counseling center.
