DeAnn Mishler, LSW C-IAYT
DeAnn Mishler is a Licensed Master level Social Worker and Certified Yoga Therapist. She specializes in anxiety and depression, personality disorders, borderline and bipolar disorders, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, eating disorders and phobias. DeAnn is certified in domestic violence, and sexual assault. She also works with grief and loss, divorce and couples seeking to mend and reconnect. DeAnn is experienced with the 12-step philosophy that aligns with her mindfulness-based approach to healing.
DeAnn works with all gender adults, families and groups and facilitates an ongoing weekly mindfulness-based practice of DBT group therapy for clients seeking help with emotion regulation. DeAnn’s style is warm and person centered; attachment and solution focused and offers a holistic and mindful methodology to help clients free themselves and live the life they envision.
As a yoga therapist, DeAnn uses yoga to reconnect the mind and body to release the central nervous system from holding past pain or trauma that has been stored in the body as an undiagnosable disease, such as general body pain, fibromyalgia, tinnitus, IBS, fatigue and more, to regain balance and remove oneself from hypervigilance.
DeAnn has a diverse medical background and earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Widener University. She is a member of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society of Social Workers, a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the National Association of Social Workers NJ Chapter.
